Fall Term: Welcome 8th Grade Artist!

MS-Art 8 Studio: The Continuation

So far, MS-Art 8 is off to a great start!  Students have personalized their sketchbook cover with paint pens and are now at the beginning stages of developing ideas & taking photographs for their upcoming project titled "The Continuation."

The Plan: Students will learn how to use one & two point perspective in relationship to drawing into a photograph and continuing the design.  Students will use an original photo image that they have taken.  The photograph should show depth; fore-ground, middle-ground and background. When students draw back into their photograph they may use realism or fantasy related subject matter, as long as it is drawn using perspective.

To Do: Students need to bring in/email their photo image to class or print it at home and bring it to our  next class meeting.  Sketches showing 1/2 point perspective in their sketchbook, begin to plan what you will add back into the composition.
